Oh I’m trying this recipe tonight and you can bet that I am including that scary sack you guys decided to throw out! Although I am curious to know was it the whole foot or was it just the dark crap sack? I feel so disappointed that you guys missed out on the best part of the clam! It’s the most flavorful and the meat is so tender it’s really what clammers in the PNW look forward to! We actually fight over the foot in our family! If you ever get a chance to try it again i’d Say brave through the disgust and you will be handsomely rewarded! Thanks for the recipe!

This looks wonderful - and green and bright, perfect for midwinter. Roasted cauliflower is so tasty, it probably was even better than with the steamed version. And I love cauloflower with pasta. I'm going to have to try this one! Thanks!

I can see why you would like this so much – it sounds wonderful. I would definitely add protein to this, simply because I can’t survive on high carb/low protein meals. I’m looking forward to trying it.

I wish it would cool down enough here in Texas to start making these recipes, but rest assured they are printed out and are being kept safely in my Home Management Notebook, ready for that first cold snap!

Hi, Spinach and bacon are not the things that I would really think of combining. The taste that both bacon and spinach is really different from one another. To tell you the truth, I am not really a fan of vegetables, more so of spinach. However, I do love eating bacon and I am not really closed to new things. I think that I would probably try this original spinach and bacon recipe of yours, I hope that I made the right choice doing it.

I know this recipe was posted years ago, but I just wanted thank you for this is easy and delicious meal. I’ve made it a few times now and my whole family has loved it. This past time, I decided to try something that you may want to add to the recipe. After it cooked all day according to your recipe, I removed all the chicken and put it on a plate. At the time we were making rice to go with it. I was about to dump the leftover juice which was very hot, when I suddenly thought “gravy!” I took around 1/4 cup of flour and just dumped it right in the juice and started stirring. Within a minute I had a thick gravy that I added salt too until it was perfect. The chicken, dipped in the gravy, was amazing, and it was so easy. Anyway, thanks again for the wonderful recipe!

Love this recipe! But I would add an extra kick of spices like my sauce to give it that extra flavor I love. https://dedescajuncuisine.com/product/jambalaya/
